Morgan Rainey isn’t a politician - she’s a proud Shawnee local who simply cares about her community. Continuing a strong family history of service, Morgan is running for City Council to bring fresh perspective, common sense, and to give a voice to the everyday concerns of Shawnee residents.
As someone who lives and works right here in Shawnee, Morgan believes local government should reflect the voices of real people with real concerns - not just politics. With so much uncertainty in the world right now, change begins locally and electing representation that reflects our values and beliefs is the first step. Morgan is ready to hear, and advocate for, the voices of her neighbors, families, business owners, and residents of Shawnee.

Support responsible growth that protects our neighborhoods and invests in our future. As the city expands, we need to make sure that housing and businesses that are brought in make sense and are built in ways that enhance the community and what makes Shawnee such a unique hometown.
Community First
Empower residents, expand resources, and keep Shawnee family-friendly and safe. Preserve the things that make Shawnee a hometown with a heart, from the Moonlight Market, toOld Shawnee Days, to building and expanding on our beautiful greenspaces and parks and trails.
Public Safety
Support our local first responders—firefighters, police officers, and EMTs—by ensuring they have the necessary resources. It's essential for everyone to feel protected in emergencies. This also means investing in and upgrading aging infrastructure to keep streets and sidewalks safe.
